- Education regarding the historic Lynton and Barnstaple Railway
- Preservation and display of historic artefacts and material relating to the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway.
- Supporting the management and improvement of the land owned by Exmoor Associates for the public benefit, including conservation and wildlife habitat management
